Dr.O.Prabhakar
Former Professor and Head of the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at the Indian Institue of Technology, Chennai.

He obtained his B.Tech and Ph.D in Metallurgy from the Indian Instiute of Technology, Chennai and M.E in Mecchanical Engineering from Indian Instiute of Science , Bangalore. He retired from IIT Chennai in 1998 and taught at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore from 1998-2004. His primary focus of research is in the areas of nondestructive evaluation, NDT and metal casting. He has 30 Years of experience in research, consulting and teaching in these areas.
